Harrison Dillard – the only person to ever win Olympic Gold in both hurdles and sprints. 4 gold medals total.  Don’t miss his statue at Baldwin Wallace College (photo below).

Jesse Owens. Greatest track and Field athlete of all time.  His 4 gold medals in Berlin in 1936 shamed Adolph Hitler.

Wieslaw Kujda rowed for Poland in the 1980 Olympics in Moscow.  He later moved to the US and became a well-respected Rowing Coach and Teacher at colleges and for organizations.  He lives in Lakewood, a suburb of Cleveland.
