John Niedzialek and other St. Casimir volunteers started the project in 2021 to help out families in the Glenville neighborhood.

St. Casimir Church re-opened in 2012 by what many believe is a miracle and has worked to be active in the community. John Niedzialek says that hams have also been donated each Easter and there will be more delivered for Christmas. Willson principal Dr. Hayden and her team have also acquired other foods (yams, desserts, etc.) so the families will have complete Thanksgiving meals.
